ANON Mission Statement
ANON SERVICES for art and ecology has a three part strategy for implementing a long term mission. First to divert materials from the waste stream into design and art, using forthcoming curatorial projects & actions and also presentation of Art consonant with promotion of a new value system that reverences Life. The long term goal of these of these actions is the establishment of community centers everywhere, beginning with model centers in Naples Florida.
ANON SERVICES claims inspiration from the works of Bob Rauschenberg, Bruce Conner and Joseph Beuys. We seek to integrate art more deeply into the needs of small local communities by artistically directed curatorial projects, integration of gardening as an art process in local neighborhoods, and the institution of free after school neighborhood studio/project spaces in every small community nationally, with the first two activities included in these locations.
ANON Services is founded by Virginia Bryant, artist/painter, Seymour Riffle, performance artist and Philemela Rowe, fabric artist. We seek to expand art practices outside conventional systems while working with them, to promote positive outcomes in a time we see as a crisis and more importantly of great opportunity for positive change.
